Spokane HOPE Summit 2021

CITA and the Spokane dependency court system hosted a virtual HOPE Summit on February 18, 2021.  Dr. Chan Hellman presented on the science of hope and how to engage child welfare partners to increase hope for ourselves, families and the system.

The summit was attended by over 165 Spokane dependency system and community partners. The Dependency Work Group, an interdisciplinary court system improvement effort, will be incorporating the science of hope into its efforts to create a trauma-responsive and hope-centered system.  If you have interest in serving on a trauma informed workgroup or committee, please contact Sarah Burns, FJCIP Coordinator, at SJBurns@spokanecounty.org.
